Great job, I can't believe DbVisualizer is better than Oracle tools, keep the good work guys
A lot of good things are happening with DbVisualizer right now. Version 7.0 is ready for deployment, we have a new web on www.dbvis.com, and the company name has been changed to DbVis Software AB. But one thing remains intact – the team that develops and supports DbVisualizer is the same.
The most important piece of news is that we have a new major release ready for deployment. DbVisualizer 7.0 has been in development for some time and recently gone through an early access program where some minor things have been ironed out. We´re proud to announce a stable, comprehensive DbVisualizer 7.0 that stays true to the original scope – The Universal Database Tool - while adding new features that have been requested by you, our user community.
Some new highlights in 7.0 are:
To simplify the customer experience, we have a new website for everything DbVisualizer. Minq Software, who has been a great partner through the years, is now out of the loop and will focus on their performance products. Please bookmark www.dbvis.com.
We have also changed the name of our company, the owner of the DbVisualizer code, from Onseven Software to the more appropriate DbVis Software AB. This is the legal entity that stands behind the software, offers support, and will appear on invoices and statements. The new name and direct distribution chain make it easier and less confusing to do business with us. We have compiled a Q&A for those who wish to know more about the changes in name and distribution.
Last, but not least important: The DbVisualizer Team remains exactly the same through these changes, and the company is still in the hands of the founders. This means that the lean and mean team of developers that addresses your features requests, develops new versions and supports users has not changed a bit.
We look forward to your continued support of DbVisualizer and hope that you will enjoy version 7.0!
DbVisualizer Team, DbVis Software AB
